Native American medicine wheel

Last night was Awesome we went to a native American ceremony and it was so moving.. Yesterday was international peace day so we meditated at lotus in the afternoon and went to the ceremony at night their was singing and dancing.. It was like i said awesome.. Today we are having a juice fast which is hard in the morning but fine as the day goes along.. I have the day off and am going to the river this afternoon..

Another Few Days in Paradise

Well it has been a few days since I posted and not much has changed , I worked a couple housekeeping shifts and a few kitchen shifts and i really per fer the kitchen. Who would of thought? But it is very zen like cutting vegetables. Today i have a kitchen shift and the afternoon off so I'm going to go hiking and maybe go down to the river. Me and my roommate are having a blast and we are going into charlottesville on Saturday for a vegetarian festival so really looking forward to that. Yes some of the lyt"s are having some issues but they will work them out .. I Hope..

Tension is mounting

Well you think coming to a spiritual community every one would get along not so.. I am thankfully getting along with everyone( knock on wood) so this is the skinny...
It is funny because the people who u thought would be SO serene are not and the people who u think would not be are. So with the lyt's allot of people are having their own stuff come up and sometimes it is being directed at the wrong people. I will keep you up to date as the saga continues tune in tomorrow..

Getting into the swing of things

Well i have been here just about a week. And what a lovely time i am having. I started my service part of the program and was put in housekeeping for today. Witch surprisingly enough i really enjoyed. It was very peaceful. Tonight  i am going to help out with kitchen clean up. What is weird is i really do not mind doing this stuff. All you need is a positive outlook and that goes along way. I took a hike yesterday it is so beautiful here and the weather is to die for...

Biss filled two days

Well i arrived Friday afternoon and it has been a full schedule. But i have been getting immersed into the yoga and meditation witch i love. I have a great roommate who is on a journey like i am so that makes it nice to have someone to talk to. The food is excellent vegetarian and delicious. I start the service part of my stay tomorrow. But i did volunteer today to help with kitchen cleanup so i met some of the other people who are in the program. I will keep everyone in the loop with how this goes.

At The airport waiting for my adventure to begin

Well the time has come really fast. It is 5:30 in the morning and i am at sarasota airport waiting to board my flight to Atlanta and then off to virgina. I am over the moon excited. I will miss my family and friends but i am ready to start a new chapter in my life a spiritual journey. I will try to keep a daily record if not every few days. Hope everyone enjoys following this adventure
